What Does the PFA Do?

The Franklin Parent Faculty Association (PFA) is an organization staffed entirely by volunteers whose primary mission is to provide opportunities for our students and support for our wonderful Franklin Parent, Faculty & Staff. The PFA funds, subsidizes, or provides volunteer coordination for many activities and events at Franklin.

- Sponsored over 40 programs, events and fundraisers.
- Provided back-office support and managed registration and advertising for After-School programs.
- Purchased supplies for Field Day.
- Rented ten inflatables for the Franklin FIERCE Fest.
- Awarded a $1,000 scholarship to a North Allegheny senior who attended Franklin Elementary.
- Purchased recess supplies for all students' use.
- Sponsored three school-wide assemblies.
- Coordinated and provided volunteers for three class parties.
- Sponsored and managed the Community Service Bingo Night.
